I’m Polina, a UX · product · digital designer based in Amsterdam
I believe that good design should not need a manual — something I always tell my mum when she struggles with yet another new tool. I have always been passionate about good customer experience and I fell in love with UX design after reading Don Norman's 'Design of Everyday Things'. Making design human is my main and primary goal and I believe in user engagement throughout the entire product development process. Having lived in different cultures and worked across various continents, I've gained the ability to adopt divergent thinking, allowing me to approach design problems from numerous perspectives and generate creative, out-of-the-box solutions.
I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember and I studied Visual Arts, painting and composition. The creative side to UX combined with the analytical and structured approach to solving real human challenges lets me fully leverage my work experience, my passions and hobbies. Please find some of my recent artwork on the Play tab. For design work, please visit the Portfolio tab.
